A lot of Lebanese specialties are made around a sour taste and this fattouch salad is not an exception .
This is a delicious salad we make in the middle east. Different people make it differently, but the basic ingredients are the same. This is my version, Fresh mixture of tomato, cucumber, onion, Molasse ,lettuce topped with Sumac served with olive oil lemon dressing and Sprinkle croutons ,feel free to improvise.
The vegetables are cut into relatively large pieces compared to tabbouleh which requires ingredients to be finely chopped. Tanner’s sumac is usually used to give fattoush its sour taste.
